As seen in Vogue, ILWAAD SHOP is a London-based, family-run Somali bridal brand specialising in luxurious bridal Diracs, bespoke designs and beautifully coordinated bridalwear.
Since launching in 2019, we have proudly served thousands of customers across the world. Our focus has always remained the same: exceptional quality, beautiful craftsmanship and creating memorable bridal looks for our ILWAAD bride.
Our collections celebrate Somali bridal elegance through luxurious fabrics, statement embellishments and timeless silhouettes. Alongside our bridal collections, we also offer coordinating accessories through IlwaadDesigns.com, as well as premium Fransaawi and velvet Diracs for family and friends celebrating alongside the bride.

We are based in London, United Kingdom, and offer worldwide shipping.
Do you have a showroom in London?
Yes. We have a private bridal showroom in West London, available by appointment only.
Our showroom is not a walk-in retail store. We release a limited number of face-to-face bridal consultation appointments each month for brides interested in custom orders and personalised bridal support.
Do you offer one-to-one bridal consultations?
Yes. We offer private bridal consultations for brides who would like additional support creating their bridal look.
During your consultation, our team can help you:
- discuss your bridal vision, style and preferences;
- explore suitable bridal designs and colours;
- understand tailoring and customisation options;
- select complementary accessories; and
- choose an option that suits your wedding date and requirements.
Our face-to-face consultations take place at our West London showroom.
A consultation fee applies and, where stated, this will be fully credited towards your bridal purchase if you proceed with an order.
Do you offer guest wear for family and friends?
Yes. In addition to our bridal collections, we offer selected Lace, Fransaawi, Velvet Diracs and coordinating pieces suitable for family members, bridesmaids and guests.
Do you offer rental or hire?
No. We do not offer bridalwear rental or hire services.
Our focus is on creating and supplying high-quality bridal pieces, including made-to-order, tailored and bespoke designs. All ILWAAD bridalwear is therefore available for purchase only.
